Hand in Heart

Heart has its own daunting beauty,
When you can feel the pulse beneath,
And sense the warmth it glows dimly,
When you muse on the zeal it conceals,
And caress the tenderness so fondly.

So much for fizzle and chagrin,
As the world gave you plenty of them.
The greatest conundrum of your love,
Lies in the gentle touch of the heart,
By those faithful not far-away at all.

Deep in your breath a wish blooming,
That your life will never be friendless,
That you will walk surcease accompanied.
Too precious happiness to let go,
While soul-stirring friends stay around.

You don’t need the best person to love,
But an unsophisticated soul to embrace.
Eyes and vibes of those so endearing,
Keep your days and nights breathtaking.
So when the dreams are flying too high,
Put the hand of the dearest in your heart.

If Only

If only you were here,
things would be more endurable.
If only there's no heaven,
no one should ever leave anyone.
If only eternity is a fact,
we don't have to let go somebody.
Then what is a true friendship,
if leaving is our daily reality?

We would know of no reason,
why a child should grow up alone,
why somebody insists on seclusion,
why a friend must beg for a company,
why one is bereft of one's soul mate.

You may have taken it for granted,
as if happiness is just a lone oeuvre,
like there's no unbearable singularity.
But why we always fail to prove,
that we are so mature in love,
as if it means an independence?

Seeing your dearest one leaving,
shouldn't be a reason to hate everyone,
or even to cold shoulder your friends.
You will discover that in your heart,
the deepest intimacy lies in the sorrow,
in the sharing of tears and elegies,
with whomever present next to you.

So if you can feel joy only with someone,
you might turn a blind eye to others,
and yet slip up on your own paradise.
If you can see love only in the laughter,
you might be lost through the misery.

The truth is, you never lose a friend,
yet if you cannot but say goodbye.
If only you are willing to share,
even the darkest hours of your life,
you'll see that the one listening to you,
is a friend you thought you had lost.

Is It That Hard?

Born in a family you didn't choose,
you might feel to be the goose.
Anointed in a creed you didn't will,
there's a city you still can't tail.
Tied up in a bond you never thought,
you may sense you're not a hotshot.
When things are going wrong,
will you find another paramour?
When what you say just goes odd,
can't you just be above-board?
We all are making things unsound,
when saying hate instead of ardour,
when mourning in place of smiling,
when uncaring rather than loving,
when attacking in lieu of touching.
So later on if we see once more,
don't talk and be that hard.
It's not that tough to be a chum,
then move on make some movies...

Friends will be Friends

When you say you're strong,
do you really mean it?
When you think you're good,
can you realise other thing?
When you feel not in the mood,
will you see the hole?
When you believe you're alone,
do they just disappear?
In a space we can't imagine,
there are always friends.
In a place we can't shape,
their hearts are fondly present.
Thus don't be fooled by the mood,
'cause friends will be friends.
They'll be there, always...
'cause they're not your creation.
