Metaphor, Image, Model
Metaphor: seeing one thing as something else, pretending “this” is “that” because we do not know how to think or talk about this. A metaphor is a kind of image, a verbal one.
Image: visual and perceptible thing, which appears before us but is also kept in our hearts; more concrete than metaphor.
Metaphor -- relationship, Image -- materiality.
McFague: there is no direct knowledge about God. We imagine God in our image.
A mixed type: model. It reaches the qualities of conceptual thought. Model = dominant metaphor, a metaphor with staying power.

Allah Tanpa 'Being' Jean-Luc Marion
Ya.. seandainya Allah sungguh-sungguh tanpa 'being',
tak perlu ada kekerasan.
Karena sesungguhnya, kita memukul orang
karena membela 'being' Allah kita sendiri.
Tak ada satu 'being' di dunia ini.
Sama jumlahnya dengan kepala manusia.
'Beings' di mana-mana.
Menjebak orang-orang yang beragama.
